— The Mary Sue defines what it means to be a geek, a beautiful definition that falls (un)surprisingly close to what it means to find purpose and do what you love. via
kasihan seorang perempuan.
diam— dia lemah.
lantang— nampak salah.
mesra— dia sundal.
pasif— suami gatal.
kahwin— “bila beranak?”
tak kahwin— pasti digelak.
berzuriat— xcukup sempurna.
tak berisi— lagi dikata.
berhijab— tak cukup labuh.
tanpa tutup— lagilah heboh.
setia— dimadu sana sini.
curang— dicanang keji.
terlalu cinta— dimain2kan.
terlalu berjaga— dimarah2kan.
sering nangis— rimas selalu.
mata kering— dipanggil batu.
orang mendosa— yang salah perempuan.
bila pahala— lelaki diagungkan.
buat betul— pelbagai dipersoal.
buat silap— sekampung berbual.
aduhai—
betapa kasihan;
betapa kasihan.

Gonna make an army of this and assemble them on my desk.
I am totally loving this setup, except I would prefer to have my desk to face the window. Yup, looking-out-the-window kind of girl here. Photo by Johan Carlsson for Sköna Hem.

I cherish the simple pleasures in life, so sometimes even the smallest details can make me happy. Like today I was out the whole day and when I came home Monty the cat was grunting in a sort of “but you left me at home!” manner, it was too cute. Or finding out that avocados (my favorite) also make a great pizza (another one of my favorite!). And yes, helium balloons. Definitely helium balloons.
